Our Process

1. Tour model home

Looking at plans online or on paper may be exciting, but nothing can compare to walking around an actual house. What you like as a concept may feel different when you have the chance to see exactly how it feels in person. For that reason, your first step is to come in and take a tour of our available model home: the 2135. Our model house includes many of the available options and upgrades, so that you can see all of the possibilities for your own home.

2. Choose home site

What do you want to see when you look out the windows of your new home? Do you prefer to be tucked away with a little extra privacy or close to all of the community action? Your next step is to choose the location for your new home.

3. Pick floor plan

Choosing your floor plan is your next task. How many bedrooms and bathrooms would you like to have? Two-story or ranch style?

4. Select options & colors

Here’s where your own personal style and preferences shine. Once you’ve signed your contract, you’ll meet with the Falls at Meehan Sales Associate / Design Coordinator, Cathy Pinion, at the Design Center. There, you’ll choose among the sample displays: from exterior and interior colors to the finish on your kitchen and bathroom fixtures, you create your perfect home.

5. We build it

This is the easy part for you — sit back and dream of your new “home sweet home” while we do the work! You can expect an average build time of 6 months from the date your purchase contract is signed.

6. You move in

Your long-awaited moment has arrived: we hand you the keys to your brand-new home at The Falls of Meehan! Of course, we don’t just leave you there: every home in the community includes a home warranty through provider 2-10, an “A”-rated, accredited company with the Better Business Bureau — just in case something unexpected happens.
